Tyson Foods is hiring a Floor Operator – feather side for the C-Shift (Days) at River valley Ingredients, Forest, MS. Starting pay is $20.40 per hour base pay.

The role requires standing for long periods, lifting up to 50 pounds, and working in extreme temperatures with potential operation of front-end loader or forklift after certification. Responsibilities include inspecting floor equipment, operating feather room machinery, reading logs, and communicating with supervisors.

Qualifications

• Must have a minimum 6 months' work history with one employer within the past 12 months.
• Prefer 3 consecutive months Operator experience within last 2 years.
• Must be able to operate frontend loader or forklift and obtain certification.

Responsibilities

• Visually inspect floor equipment and make adjustments when needed.
• Monitor and operate all equipment in the feather room, including loaders, conveyors, detectors, and dryers.
• Read and complete required logs accurately.
• Communicate with supervisor and co-workers via two-way radio.
• May perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
