Job summary

Lutheran Living Senior Campus is seeking licensed RNs/LPNs to deliver compassionate nursing care to residents in our senior living community. Join a supportive team committed to hospitality, stewardship, integrity, respect, and humor. A sign-on bonus is available for both full-time and part-time roles.

Responsibilities include administering meds, following care plans, supervising CNAs, and collaborating with physicians and families. Iowa licensure and CPR are required or obtainable on hire.

Qualifications

• Active RN/LPN license in Iowa required.
• CPR certification required (or willingness to obtain upon hire).
• Previous experience in skilled nursing or senior living preferred, but not required.
• Strong assessment, documentation, and communication skills.
• Ability to stay organized and calm under pressure while leading others.

• Provide direct nursing care in accordance with resident care plans, physician orders, and community policies.
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and on time.
• Monitor resident conditions and intervene as needed to ensure health and safety.
• Support CNAs and other direct care staff to ensure consistent, quality care.
• Communicate changes in resident status to physicians, families, and interdisciplinary team members.
• Participate in care planning, resident assessments, and quality improvement initiatives.
• Uphold infection control, safety, and emergency response protocols at all times.

Deliver Compassionate, Clinical Care:

What You Bring to the Table (Besides Your Clinical Skills & Big Heart)

Licensure & Credentials:

• Active RN/LPN license in Iowa required.

• CPR certification required (or willingness to obtain upon hire).

Experience & Skills:

• Previous experience in skilled nursing or senior living preferred, but not required.

• Strong assessment, documentation, and communication skills.

• Ability to stay organized and calm under pressure while leading others.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift, move, and assist residents as needed.

• Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and perform physical tasks throughout a full shift.
