Job summary

AVI Foodsystems in Westminster, MD is hiring a dining hall supervisor to lead operations at McDaniel College. This full-time role runs 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM, Saturday through Wednesday, supporting front-of-house and production tasks while upholding safety and quality standards.

AVI Foodsystems is looking for an energetic and optimistic team member to immediately hire to fill the role of McDaniel College's dining hall supervisor in Westminster, MD. This is a full-time position working 2pm - 10:30pm Saturday - Wednesday.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Oversee front end production
• Follow opening procedures, including opening and handling cash drawers
• Comply with all policies and procedures, including but not limited to food and physical safety programs
• Communicate any issues of concern to management (i.e. customer issues, cleanliness, safety concerns or security concerns)
• Follow all safety requirements at accounts
• Adhere to grooming and appearance standards
• Perform any other duties as specified by management

Requirements

• Previous culinary/foodservice experience required
• Excellent customer service and communication skills, both written and verbal
• Successful team leadership experience
• Moving, bending, stooping, lifting and standing on a frequent basis
• Ability to lift up to 15 pounds frequently; lift up to 30 pounds occasionally
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite is necessary
