Elephants Delicatessen in Beaverton, OR is hiring a Floor Manager to lead from the floor, ensure operational excellence, and foster a culture where guests and team members thrive.

The role requires a strong communicator and decisive leader who can balance hospitality with accountability in a fast-paced setting. You will coach staff, manage service quality, and maintain safety and sanitation standards across shifts.

Responsibilities

• Maintain active floor presence and lead by example on service standards.
• Oversee daily service to ensure exceptional guest experiences.

• Enforce sanitation, food safety, and cost controls during shifts.
• Monitor workflow, staffing, and peak-hour pace for efficiency.
• Promote specials and upsell with strong product knowledge.
• Address guest concerns with professionalism and urgency.

$23.00 - $27.00/hour ($18.00 - $20.00/hour + tips which average an additional $5-$7/hour)

We are seeking a dynamic, guest-focused Floor Manager who leads from the front. This role is responsible for maintaining an active presence on the floor, ensuring operational excellence, and creating a culture where both guests and team members thrive.

The ideal candidate is a strong communicator, natural coach, and decisive leader who can balance hospitality with accountability in a fast‑paced environment.

What You’ll Do

• Lead by example with consistent floor presence and hands‑on support
• Oversee daily service execution to ensure exceptional guest experience
• Cross‑train across all restaurant roles and step in as needed to support operations
• Coach and develop team members in real time, ensuring thorough and efficient documentation processes
• Reinforce service, sanitation, and food safety standards
• Assist with inventory management and cost controls
• Monitor workflow, staffing deployment, and pace during peak hours
• Promote specials, drive upselling, and maintain strong product knowledge
• Address guest concerns with professionalism and urgency
