Base pay range
$55,000.00/yr - $65,000.00/yr
GENERAL SUMMARY: The primary responsibility of the Floor Manager is to assist the General Manager, Assistant General Manager and Restaurant Manager in overseeing the operations of the restaurant.
Supervisory Responsibilities
- Primary focus of daily guest and staff relations along with closing the restaurant
Essential Functions, Duties And Responsibilities
- Demonstrates and role-models the company's Core Values and Leadership Principles
- Handles guest concerns, complaints, and needs according to Company guidelines
- Addresses guest and staff issues in the moment and sees to their proper resolution or involves appropriate supervisors
- Maintains a presence in the dining room and service
- Manages employee performance through coaching, recognition, and corrective action
- Reviews and enters daily Avero Logbook
- Performs all opening or closing responsibilities according to the shift assignment
- Ensures accurate cash counting, checkouts, side work completion, setting of the dining room for next service, tip matrix input, safe reconciliation, and nightly drop
- Checks out hourly staff members; reviews tip out and side work
- Ensures cleanliness and upkeep of the restaurant
- Assists in maintaining par levels of linens
- Assists in organizing and moving beverage product in the absence of or in coordination with the Beverage Manager
- Takes responsibility for the management of front of house employees in the absence of or in conjunction with the General Manager and Assistant General Manager
- Attends and contributes to weekly manager meetings
- Makes recommendations to the Company on ways to improve as needed
- Manages transitions between breakfast, lunch, and dinner service periods, ensuring smooth operations throughout all meal periods
Education And Experience
- Should be able to properly execute and demonstrate all duties of servers, bussers, food runners, bartenders and hosts in order to teach proper protocol
- Requires a high school diploma or equivalent, and/or 1 year of tenure/experience with Atlas or similar concept while excelling in an hourly role
- Minimum 2 years of experience in fine dining establishments and/or luxury hotel food & beverage operations
- Demonstrates familiarity with Forbes standards for hospitality service excellence
- Knowledge of wines is beneficial
- Knowledge of cocktail making and spirits is beneficial
Schedule
- Primarily AM focused hours with some evening/nighttime shifts based on business needs
- Must be flexible to work a varied schedule, including weekends and holidays
