Job summary

Camelot Nursing & Rehab is seeking a Floor Maintenance Technician to maintain clean, safe floors and common areas for residents. The role includes floor care, carpet cleaning, and assisting with basic room setup and furniture arrangement.

Strong communication and physical endurance are essential for interacting with staff and residents. The ideal candidate will have at least a high school diploma and some maintenance experience, with the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required or preferred.
• 1 year experience preferred.
• Must communicate in writing and verbally with staff, residents and families.
• Physically able to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to use a computer or phone for basic tasks.

Responsibilities

• Mop, wax, strip and buffer floors.
• Shampoo and vacuum carpets.
• Arrange furniture to maintain clean, safe areas.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
