Job summary

Menasha Corporation in West Jefferson, Kentucky, is seeking a Floor Lead (Sr. Lead) to oversee production activities and ensure acceptable finished products for customers.

The role involves supervising staff, coordinating with the Quality Department, and maintaining safe, efficient lines. The incumbent will back up the Production Supervisor, inspect lines, manage work packets, train staff, and handle labeling and material classification.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year of related experience or training in warehouse production.
• Ability to lead/supervise large groups of associates.

Responsibilities

• Back up to Production Supervisor.
• Work with Quality Department for positive production results.
• Inspection of the production lines as needed if the job is complex or critical in its design or use.
• Knowledge of the rates of the jobs running on the production line.
• Responsible for work packets being filled out both correctly and accurately.
• Responsible for training production staff.
• Perform all computer functions as they pertain to this job.
• Conducts and documents quality inspections to meet required customer, company, or industry specifications.
• Print / Coordinate case labels and squid messages for the production lines.
• Manage and appropriately classify reclaim, scrap and damaged product or materials.
• Maintain a safe work environment.
