Job summary

Nexus Employment Solutions Plus, Inc. is seeking a Floor Lead for a food manufacturing facility in Manteno, IL. This is a full-time, day-shift position paying $20.00–$24.00 per hour with weekly pay.

You will create production schedules, assign workers to lines, verify codes and monitor equipment at shift start. You’ll train staff on job functions and safety, assist with line set-ups, complete daily paperwork, ensure quality, and address any safety issues.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a food manufacturing facility.
• Experience as a Group Lead, Line Lead, Floor Lead, or Supervisor.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to work safely and manage multiple production lines.
• Reliable and detail-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Create schedules and assign employees to production lines.
• Verify codes and monitor machines/equipment at the start of shifts.
• Train team members on job functions and safety procedures.
• Assist with line set-ups and changeovers.
• Complete daily paperwork and enter critical data into systems.
• Ensure product quality and support process improvement.
