Job summary

Fresh Express is hiring a Floor Lead to oversee daily production operations across lines in our facility, ensuring safety, quality and efficiency standards are met or exceeded.

The role involves staffing, line setup, changeovers, packaging accuracy, and timely communication with supervisors. It requires adaptability to a noisy, cold environment and active participation in training new hires.

Qualifications

• Able to lift 25+ lbs and stand for 10+ hours.
• Capable of bending, reaching, and performing repetitive motions.
• Work in a noisy, wet, cold production environment (~36°F).

Responsibilities

• Communicate and understand Production schedule.
• Ensure lines are staffed properly and set up correctly.
• Coordinate changeovers and maintain a clean workspace.
• Monitor packaging lines for correct quantities and packaging info.
• Document hourly outputs and report mechanical issues.
• Support new hire orientation and ensure training is completed.
• Validate carton barcode scanning and PMO paperwork.
