Job summary

Murfin Drilling Company in Colby, Kansas is seeking a Floor Hand to join our drilling crew. This is a physically demanding, safety-sensitive role that requires travel, overtime, and 12-hour shifts.

The ideal candidate has oilfield or drilling experience, basic mechanical knowledge, and a valid driver's license. CDL is a plus and pre-employment screening is required. Per diem, overtime, and lodging are provided.

Qualifications

• Oilfield or drilling experience preferred.
• Kelly Drive Rig experience preferred.
• Basic mechanical knowledge.
• Ability to lift up to 100 lbs.
• Must be willing to travel and work overtime.
• Valid driver's license preferred; CDL is a plus.
• Must pass required pre-employment screening.

Responsibilities

• Assist with rig-up, rig-down, and drilling operations.
• Handle drill pipe and rig equipment.
• Perform basic equipment maintenance and repairs.
• Keep work areas clean and safe.
• Follow all safety procedures and participate in daily safety meetings.
