Didlake, Inc. in White Oak, MD is seeking a Floor Equipment Operator to clean and maintain floors and common areas using scrubbers, burnishers, and polishers under government contracts.

You will perform routine custodial tasks, follow SOPs and safety standards, report issues, and work with a team to ensure high-quality facility cleanliness. A HS diploma or GED and at least six months of floor-machine experience are required.

Responsibilities

• Operate floor machines safely and efficiently.

• Sweep, mop, scrub, polish floors; manage supplies and fixtures.
• Follow safety standards and contract requirements.

The Floor Equipment Operator operates floor care equipment, including scrubbers, burnishers, and polishers, to clean and maintain floors and assigned facility areas under government contracts. This position performs routine custodial duties, completes basic equipment maintenance, follows safety and contract requirements, and supports Didlake's mission through quality work and teamwork.

What You Will Do

• Operate floor machines (scrubbers, burnishers, polishers) safely and efficiently.
• Clean and maintain floors and common areas include corridors, restrooms, stairways, lobbies, and other assigned spaces.
• Perform basic preventive maintenance on equipment per SOPs.
• Sweep, mop, scrub, polish floors, clean restrooms, empty trash, replenish supplies, and polish fixtures.
• Follow all safety standards, company policies, and contract requirements.
• Report maintenance issues or equipment damage to the supervisor.
• Work collaboratively with team members and maintain professional conduct.
• Complete required Didlake training and other duties as assigned.
