Job summary

Covenant Living of Keene is seeking a Floor and Custodial Technician to perform floor care, general cleaning, and light maintenance across the campus. The role supports residents and staff by keeping facilities clean, safe, and well maintained, with duties spanning linen handling and supply stocking.

The ideal candidate will have high school diploma, housekeeping or maintenance experience, and good English communication.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Housekeeping or general maintenance experience preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English (verbal and written).
• Dependability and ability to organize daily cleaning schedule.
• Interest in working with older adults.

Responsibilities

• Perform general cleaning in assigned areas inside and outside according to department standards.
• Maintain floors (sweeping, mopping, stripping, waxing, buffing) and use of floor equipment as needed.
• Assist in minor maintenance tasks including changing bulbs and basic repairs.
• Participate in linen program and guest room preparation as needed.
• Receive, count, and stock campus supplies; observe and report facility needs.
