Job summary

Covenant Living in Evanston, IL is seeking a Floor and Custodial Technician to provide campus services, floor care, cleaning, and minor maintenance across the facility to support residents and staff. You will follow established cleaning schedules, maintain floors, assist with linen handling, inventory, and report repairs.

The role requires reliable teamwork, English communication, and an interest in serving older adults.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Housekeeping and/or general maintenance experience preferred.
• Experience with floors and cleaning surfaces.
• Strong communication in English with residents and staff.

Responsibilities

• Perform general custodial and cleaning tasks as scheduled.
• Maintain floors through sweeping, mopping, waxing, and buffing.
• Assist with minor maintenance and room turnover.
• Participate in linen distribution and inventory control.
• Observe safety policies and report repairs.
