Job summary

Covenant Living of Northbrook is seeking a Floor and Custodial Technician to join our Facilities team in Northbrook, IL. You will perform cleaning, floor care, and light maintenance to keep the campus safe and welcoming for residents and staff.

Responsibilities include custodial cleaning, floor maintenance, minor repairs, linen handling, and inventory support. The ideal candidate has a high school diploma and English communication skills, with prior housekeeping or maintenance experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Housekeeping and/or general maintenance experience preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English with residents and staff.

Responsibilities

• Perform general custodial cleaning inside and outside according to schedule.
• Maintain floors through sweeping, mopping, waxing, and related tasks.
• Assist with minor maintenance, light bulbs, and repairs as needed.
• Participate in linen program and guest room support as required.
• Handle inventory and supply stocking for daily operations.
• Observe safety rules and report facility repairs to management.
