Job summary

SBM Management Services, LP in Oklahoma City is hiring a Floor Technician to perform professional floor care, waxing, stripping, buffing, and related cleaning tasks. You will follow safety rules, operate motorized equipment, maintain clean work areas, and work with the team to complete assignments on schedule.

Shift: Monday–Friday 2:30pm–11:00pm; pay: $15–$16 per hour. SBM provides comprehensive benefits and equal opportunity employment.

Qualifications

• No education requirement; 6 months to 1 year experience preferred
• May be required to have a valid driver’s license
• Knowledge of cleaning methods and chemicals, and their safe use
• Knowledge of upkeep and care of cleaning equipment

Responsibilities

• Perform floor care including waxing, stripping, buffing, and carpet/tile maintenance
• Operate motorized cleaning equipment and maintain it properly
• Maintain daily upkeep of assigned area and report hazards
• Communicate professionally with supervisors, coworkers, and customers
• Complete tasks in a timely manner and support shift lead
