Job summary

CBRE Government and Defense Services is seeking a Floor Technician to ensure all floor areas are clean, safe, and well-maintained. Responsibilities include sweeping, mopping, stripping, refinishing floors, and maintaining carpeted surfaces.

You will move furniture, manage supplies, operate floor machines and equipment, and follow PPE guidelines. The role stresses safety, precise procedures, and teamwork in a warehouse environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 2 years' experience cleaning floors.
• Valid Driver's License.

Responsibilities

• Sweep, mop, strip and refinish hard floors according to SOPs.
• Vacuum and scrub carpeted surfaces per SOP.
• Move furniture as needed and return items to their original places.
• Monitor supplies and request cleaning solutions.
• Maintain cleanliness and condition of floor machines.
• Handle cleaning chemicals per guidelines with PPE.
• Report maintenance needs to supervisor.
• Perform recycling and monitor trash disposal.
• Operate forklifts, ride-on pallet jacks, and tuggers.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
