Job summary

CBRE Government Services is seeking a floor care technician to maintain the appearance of all flooring surfaces across the facility. The role involves sweeping, mopping, stripping, refinishing, vacuuming, and carpet scrubbing, with attention to PPE and chemical safety.

High school diploma and 1 year floor cleaning experience required. The position is full-time, with a minimum pay rate of $16.00 per hour and a comprehensive benefits package may be offered.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year experience cleaning floors.
• Ability to comprehend and follow detailed instructions in English.

Responsibilities

• Sweep, mop, strip and refinish hard flooring surfaces following SOPs.
• Vacuum and scrub carpeted surfaces as required.
• Move furniture to access floors and return items after cleaning.
• Monitor supplies and request cleaning solutions as needed.
• Ensure floor machines are cleaned and maintained properly.
• Handle cleaning chemicals in accordance with guidelines and use PPE.
• Report maintenance needs to supervisor.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
