Tessera is seeking a driven and reliable Floor Crew with a positive and professional attitude to support our government contract work in Silverdale, Washington. The role involves performing floor care duties, cleaning, and following safety and security guidelines on site.

Typical duties include sweeping, mopping, waxing, and operating floor care machines; candidates must have a valid driver’s license, be able to obtain necessary clearances, and be prepared for varied shifts as needed.

Qualifications

• Prior Floor Crew experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform floor care work such as sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, stripping, reconditioning, waxing, buffing, spot cleaning, carpet shampooing, and vacuuming.
• Operate floor care machines to include powered pressure washer on various structures (e.g., sidewalks, streets, parking lots, etc.).
• Fill and empty mop buckets.
• Measure and mix chemicals.
• Construction clean-up, to include cleaning up dust and debris during or after construction projects.
• Safely use and maintain basic personal protective equipment such as hard hat, safety glasses, safety toe boots, hearing protection, and gloves.
• Operate a motor vehicle to assigned work locations.
• Must complete and submit a ‘Questionnaire for National Security Positions Standard Form (SF86)’ packet within 90 days of employment as applicable for secret clearance.
