Job summary

Didlake, Inc. in White Oak, MD is seeking a Floor Equipment Operator to clean and maintain floors and common areas using scrubbers, burnishers, and polishers under government contracts.

You will perform routine custodial tasks, follow SOPs and safety standards, report issues, and work with a team to ensure high-quality facility cleanliness. A HS diploma or GED and at least six months of floor-machine experience are required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Minimum six months of experience operating floor machines.
• Ability to follow safety standards, SOPs, and contract requirements.

Responsibilities

• Operate floor machines safely and efficiently.
• Clean and maintain floors and common areas (corridors, restrooms, stairs, lobbies).
• Perform basic preventive maintenance on equipment per SOPs.
• Sweep, mop, scrub, polish floors; manage supplies and fixtures.
• Follow safety standards and contract requirements.
• Report maintenance issues or damage to supervisor.
• Collaborate with team and maintain professional conduct.
• Complete Didlake training and other duties as assigned.
