Job summary

Didlake, Inc. seeks a Floor Equipment Operator to operate floor care equipment and perform custodial duties under government contracts. The role emphasizes safety, reliability, and teamwork in maintaining floors across assigned facilities.

Responsibilities include operating scrubbers, burnishers, and polishers, cleaning and maintaining common areas, and reporting issues promptly. Minimum 6 months of floor-machine experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Minimum six (6) months of experience operating floor machines.
• Ability to follow safety standards, procedures, and contract requirements.

Responsibilities

• Operate floor machines (scrubbers, burnishers, polishers) safely and efficiently.
• Clean and maintain floors and common areas including corridors, restrooms, stairways, lobbies, and other assigned spaces.
• Perform basic preventive maintenance on equipment per SOPs.
• Sweep, mop, scrub, polish floors, clean restrooms, empty trash, replenish supplies, and polish fixtures.
• Follow all safety standards, company policies, and contract requirements.
• Report maintenance issues or equipment damage to the supervisor.
• Work collaboratively with team members and maintain professional conduct.
• Complete required Didlake training and other duties as assigned.
