Job summary

Aramark is seeking a Floor Technician to maintain and restore floors using industrial equipment at assigned locations in California. The role emphasizes safety, cleanliness, and high-quality service to clients and customers.

Responsibilities include operating floor care equipment, performing stripping, refinishing, burnishing, and cleaning, with adherence to safety and PPE standards. The position may require lifting and extended standing as part of daily duties.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a floor care technician or in related role.
• Ability to read and write to facilitate proper communication and perform simple mathematical calculations.
• Physical ability to lift, bend, push, pull and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Maintains a friendly, efficient, and positive customer service attitude toward customers, clients, and co-workers.
• Anticipates and responds to customer needs.
• Uses proper procedures on hard floor care (stripping & refinishing, burnishing, spray cleaning, and spray buffing).
• Uses proper procedures on carpet and upholstering (shampooing, damp surface, extractions, spot cleaning, vacuuming).
• Operates industrial floor care equipment as assigned and according to schedule.
• Performs maintenance and restorative processes for all floor surface types.
• Properly processes all waste including MSW, infectious and pharmaceutical waste.
• Removes trash and cleans and disinfects receptacles and carts.
• Follows Aramark safety standards, sanitation, and PPE procedures.
• Adheres to Aramark appearance standards and wears PPE.
