Job summary

Aramark is seeking a Floor Technician to maintain and restore floors across assigned locations. You will operate industrial floor care equipment and follow safety and sanitation standards to keep surfaces clean and appealing.

Responsibilities include floor stripping, refinishing, burnishing, carpet cleaning, waste disposal, PPE use, and maintaining a friendly, service‑oriented attitude toward customers and coworkers.

Qualifications

• Experience as a floor care technician or similar role preferred.
• Ability to read, write, and perform simple math for communication and tasks.
• Physical ability for lifting, bending, standing for extended periods, with PPE as required.

Responsibilities

• Maintains a friendly, efficient, and positive customer service attitude toward customers, clients, and co-workers.
• Anticipates and responds to customer needs.
• Operates and maintains hard floor care processes (stripping, refinishing, burnishing, spray cleaning, spray buffing) following safety standards.
• Cleans carpets and upholstery (shampooing, damp cleaning, extractions, spot cleaning, vacuuming).
• Operates industrial floor care equipment according to schedule for large area floors.
• Performs maintenance/restoration for all floor surface types.
• Disposes of waste according to safety and sanitation standards.
• Removes trash, recyclables, soiled linen, used supplies and cleans equipment; disinfects containers.
• Follows Aramark safety, sanitation, and infection control standards and procedures.
• Wears uniform and PPE as required.
• Duties may change or new ones assigned without notice.
