Job summary

Aramark is seeking a Floor Technician to maintain and restore floors and operate industrial floor care equipment at assigned locations. The role emphasizes safe, efficient cleaning across hard floors and carpets, with waste handling and adherence to company standards.

The position requires the ability to read and write for clear communication, as well as basic math. It involves physical tasks such as lifting and standing for extended periods and wearing PPE as required.

Qualifications

• Experience as floor care technician or related role preferred.
• Able to read/write and perform basic mathematical calculations.

Responsibilities

• Maintains a friendly, efficient, and positive customer service attitude toward customers, clients, and co-workers.
• Anticipates and responds to customer needs.
• Uses proper procedures on hard floor care (stripping & refinishing, burnishing, spray cleaning, and spray buffing).
• Cleans carpet and upholstering (shampooing, damp surface, extractions, spot cleaning, vacuuming).
• Operates industrial floor care equipment according to schedule for cleaning large floor areas.
• Performs maintenance and restoration for all floor surface types.
• Manages waste including MSW, infectious, and pharmaceutical waste; renders infectious waste as MSW.
• Removes trash, recyclables, soiled linen, used supplies and equipment; disinfects receptacles and carts as needed.
• Follows Aramark safety and sanitation standards and PPE requirements.
• Adheres to uniform and PPE guidelines.
