Job summary

Aramark is seeking a Floor Technician responsible for floor maintenance, restoration, and operating industrial floor care equipment in assigned locations. You will follow safety standards, manage waste disposal, and ensure clean, presentable floors across client sites.

The role emphasizes adherence to procedures for hard floor care, carpet care, and proper PPE usage while maintaining a helpful customer-focused attitude and supporting team needs.

Qualifications

• Prior floor care technician experience preferred.
• Ability to read and write for communication.
• Ability to perform simple math calculations.

Responsibilities

• Maintains friendly, efficient, and positive customer service attitude toward customers, clients, and co-workers.
• Anticipates and responds to customer needs.
• Uses proper procedures on hard floor care (stripping, refinishing, burnishing) in adherence to hard surface maintenance principles.
• Performs carpet and upholstery care (shampooing, extractions, spot cleaning, vacuuming).
• Operates industrial floor care equipment as assigned and according to schedule for large areas.
• Performs maintenance and restoration for all floor types.
• Properly processes all MSW, infectious, and pharmaceutical waste including rendering infectious waste as MSW.
• Removes trash, recyclables, soiled linen, used supplies and equipment; disinfects receptacles and carts.
• Follows Aramark safety, sanitation, infection control standards and requirements by local agencies.
• Adheres to Aramark appearance standards and wears PPE.
