Job summary

Brooksby Village by Erickson Senior Living in Peabody, MA seeks a full-time Housekeeping Floor Tech/Custodian to clean floors and carpets, set up rooms for events, remove trash, and assist with moving heavy objects. Day and evening shifts are available; a valid MA driver’s license and clean driving history are required.

Qualifications

• Current and valid driver’s license.
• Experience with carpet and floor finishing techniques preferred.
• May require CDL class B with air brake endorsement.
• Must have a current and valid D.O.T. Physical/Medical Examiner’s Certificate.

Responsibilities

• Maintain hard floor surfaces through scrubbing, mopping, waxing.
• Maintain carpeted surfaces through extraction, vacuuming, and drying.
• Clean vertical surfaces such as doors, walls, and windows.
• Remove trash and recyclables following procedures with containers and compactors.
• Move and arrange furniture in common areas and residential spaces.
• Deliver residents' items to storage, vehicles, or apartments.
• Operate housekeeping equipment/vehicles safely.
