Brooksby Village, part of Erickson Senior Living, seeks a dedicated Housekeeper to maintain resident apartments and common areas in a warm senior living community in Peabody, MA.

This full-time role offers hourly wages between $16.25 and $18.25, shift differentials, comprehensive benefits, and opportunities for growth as the community expands.

Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping experience in residential or healthcare settings.
• Ability to operate cleaning equipment safely.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent resident interaction and communication.

Responsibilities

• Clean resident apartments and common areas.
• Sanitize and maintain bathrooms, lobbies, and hallways.
• Empty trash and replace liners, follow safety procedures.
• Operate housekeeping vehicles if required.

Location: Brooksby Village by Erickson Senior Living

Join an incredible team of environmental services professionals as a full-time Housekeeper in our senior living community. You'll help keep our resident apartments and common areas in tip top shape.

Full-time

Compensation: commensurate with experience $16.25-$18.25 / hour and shift differentials

How You Will Make An Impact

• Cleaning resident’s homes in Independent Living or Resident Rooms in Nursing Home
• Cleaning public bathrooms, including counters, mirrors, sinks, lavatories, fixtures
• Cleaning lobbies/living rooms including vacuuming, high and low dusting, de-cluttering, and removing trash, spot clean walls/windows/switches, baseboards, pictures, lights, HVAC vents.
• Cleaning classrooms, including dusting, vacuuming, white/chalkboards, tables/chairs
• Assisting with the collection, bagging, and disposal of trash, as well as replacing trashcan liners
• Maintaining carpeted surfaces, including extracting, interim cleaning, spotting, drying, and vacuuming.

What You Will Need

• Previous experience cleaning in a residential or commercial setting is ideal
• Ability to safely operate carpet care equipment, hard floor care equipment, trash removal equipment
• Ability to work independently and as a contributing team member
• Ability to safely operate Housekeeping vehicles
• Ability to demonstrate professional and responsive interactions with residents and their family members, staff, vendors, and each other
