Cogir Senior Living in Wilmington, NC seeks a Floor Technician to maintain floors throughout the community, ensuring a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents and staff. You will follow established cleaning and infection prevention practices as part of the Environmental Services team.

The role is full-time with a 6 a.m.–2 p.m. schedule and requires weekend availability. Join us to support resident well-being while upholding privacy, dignity, and high cleanliness standards.

Qualificações

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Willingness to complete all required training in safety and infection prevention.
• Experience in long-term care, senior living, healthcare, hospitality, or similar environments preferred.
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English to follow instructions and documentation.

Responsabilidades

• Perform routine floor care in resident rooms, hallways, and common areas (sweeping, mopping, buffing, stripping, waxing).
• Follow daily, weekly, monthly floor-maintenance schedules.
• Deep clean, strip, and wax tiled floors per preventive maintenance schedule.
• Safely prepare work areas and coordinate with team members as needed.
• Maintain equipment and report any issues promptly.
