Job summary

Sizemore, Inc. in Madison, WI is hiring a Floor Care Technician to maintain hard surfaces and carpet across our facilities.

You will operate floor care equipment, perform waxing, stripping, buffing, shampooing, and extraction, and collaborate with the Building Maintenance team to ensure clean, safe environments. This role requires strong attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to work with limited supervision.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or GED.

Responsibilities

• Perform hard floor care (mopping, scrubbing, buffing).
• Carpet maintenance (vacuuming, shampooing, bonneting, extracting).
• Other cleaning tasks (dusting, restroom and area cleaning).
• Operate floor care machines safely and following manufacturer instructions.
• Follow safety procedures and report issues to supervisor.
• Report timekeeping, injuries, or store damages to supervisor.
• Ensure equipment and supplies are available; request replenishment as needed.
• Assist with training less-experienced technicians as needed.
• Support additional duties including floor stripping when required.
