Qualifications

• High school graduate or GED.
• Some cleaning experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding and carry out simple instructions.

Responsibilities

• Handles hard floor care, including routine mopping, scrubbing, and buffing on hard surfaces.
• Provides carpet maintenance, including vacuuming, shampooing, bonneting and extracting carpets.
• Provides other cleaning services, such as dusting, restroom and area cleaning.
• Operates floor care machines and cleaning products safely and per manufacturers' instructions.
• Follows safety requirements and procedures at all times.
• Reports to work as scheduled and on time, and reports time worked through timekeeping systems.
• Interacts respectfully with customers and personnel.
• Keeps storage area organized and requests supplies through supervisor.
• Assists with other duties periodically, including floor stripping, and mentors less-experienced technicians.
