Job summary

Skyline Nursing Center in Dallas, TX seeks a dedicated housekeeping/maintenance aide to maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents. You will follow supervisor directions, perform floor care, and assist with various maintenance tasks across the facility.

The role requires handling routine cleaning, coordinating with staff, and ensuring infection prevention and sanitation standards are met in all areas of the center.

Qualifications

• Highschool diploma or equivalency preferred.
• One year’s work experience in a commercial establishment with knowledge of laundry/housekeeping procedures.

Responsibilities

• Follows work assignments from supervisor and schedule to wash, seal, wax and buff floors.
• Performs maintenance tasks such as checking/replacing light bulbs and cleaning vents; keeps grounds clear of debris.
• Cleans, dusts, washes and disinfects fixtures, floors, walls, doors, and ceilings; polishes furnishings.
• Cleans furnishings and horizontal surfaces; ensures cleanliness of restrooms and common areas.
• Works with staff to handle environmental services requests and maintains room readiness for admissions and discharges.

Education
