Responsibilities

• Washes, cleans, and maintains floors; uses floor care equipment including washing, sealing, waxing, and buffing surfaces.
• Performs maintenance tasks as directed by supervisor, such as replacing light bulbs and cleaning vents, corners, and fixtures.
• Performs general housekeeping tasks to keep the facility sanitary, safe, and orderly across offices, restrooms, and common areas.
• Follows cleaning schedules and obtains lists of rooms to be cleaned, ensuring room readiness for admissions or discharges.
• Cleans fixtures, surfaces, and furnishings; restocks supplies and maintains equipment in good order.
• Coordinates with staff to address environmental services requests and infection prevention practices.
• Ensures storage of equipment and supplies properly, and performs duties as assigned with or without notice.
