Job summary

CW Resources is seeking a Floor Care Technician at Fort Lee, VA to keep spaces spotless with minimal supervision. If you know your way around buffers and scrubbers, this role rewards hands-on cleaning and dependable work habits.

Operate floor care machines across tile, vinyl, carpet, and concrete; perform deep cleaning, follow safety rules, and report equipment issues to your supervisor. 1+ year experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1–2 years of hands-on experience as a commercial floor-care technician, janitor, or similar role.
• Experience using floor care machines like buffers, auto-scrubbers, burnishers, and carpet extractors.
• Knowledge of floor types (tile, vinyl, carpet, concrete) and how to clean/maintain each properly.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain government base access.

Responsibilities

• Operate floor care machines such as buffers, scrubbers, burnishers, and vacuums daily.
• Perform advanced floor care like stripping old wax, applying coatings, buffing, and deep-cleaning carpets.
• Follow safety guidelines when handling cleaning chemicals and PPE.
• Maintain equipment, report issues, and coordinate with supervisor for supplies.
• Work solo or with a team to complete daily duties and larger projects.
• Keep floors free of spills and hazards and ensure a clean, professional space.
