Job summary

Southern Cleaning Services is seeking a skilled Floor Tech to maintain the cleanliness and appearance of floors throughout the facility. Responsibilities include mopping, stripping, waxing, and buffing floors, with emphasis on attention to detail and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

The ideal candidate will have experience operating floor cleaning machines, knowledge of cleaning agents, and a strong work ethic.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent is required.
Background check is required.
Experience as a Floor Tech or similar role preferred.
Able to operate floor cleaning machines safely.

Responsibilities

Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors on a regular basis to remove dirt, debris, and dust.
Clean and sanitize floors using appropriate cleaning agents and equipment.
Strip and refinish floors as needed to maintain a high level of cleanliness and appearance.
Operate floor cleaning machines, such as buffers, scrubbers, and carpet cleaners.
Ensure floors are properly maintained and free of hazards or obstructions.
Monitor and report any damage or repairs needed for the floors.
Follow all safety procedures and protocols when handling cleaning chemicals and equipment.
Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient and effective completion of tasks.
Assist with other cleaning and maintenance duties as directed by the supervisor.
