Job summary

Southern Cleaning Services is seeking a Floor Tech to maintain cleanliness and appearance of floors across our facility. Responsibilities include mopping, stripping, waxing, buffing, and operating floor cleaning machines.

The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. A background check and high school diploma are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check required.
• Experience as Floor Tech or similar role preferred.
• Knowledge of cleaning agents, equipment and techniques.

Responsibilities

• Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors regularly to remove dirt and debris.
• Operate and maintain floor cleaning machines (buffers, scrubbers).
• Strip and refinish floors as needed to maintain cleanliness and appearance.
• Monitor floors for damage and safety hazards and report as needed.
• Follow safety procedures when handling cleaning chemicals and equipment.
• Collaborate with team to complete tasks efficiently.
