Crothall Healthcare, a Compass Group company, is hiring a Floor Technician at Texas Children's Hospital in The Woodlands/Conroe, TX. This full-time role features a 2nd shift (5:00 pm–1:30 am) with rotating weekends, and no prior experience is required.

The position centers on floor maintenance, restoration, and operating floor care equipment. Essential duties include hard-surface floor care, carpet handling, and routine upkeep of various floor types, with safety protocols emphasized.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a floor care technician or in related role preferred.
• Proven knowledge of floor care equipment and techniques required.
• Knowledge and ability to follow safety procedures.
• Requires frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling of up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Maintain hard-surface floor maintenance using stripping, refinishing, burnishing, spray cleaning, and spray buffing.
• Operate industrial floor care equipment.
• Use automated equipment for large area floor cleaning.
• Perform carpet and upholstery care including shampooing and spot cleaning.
• Perform maintenance and restorative processes for all floor types.
• Carry out additional duties as assigned by manager.
