Job summary

Crothall Healthcare, part of Compass Health, is hiring for a Floor Technician at Memorial Hermann The Woodlands in Shenandoah, TX. The role focuses on floor maintenance, restoration, and operating industrial floor care equipment to keep large facilities clean and safe.

Qualified candidates will have 1 year of floor care experience and must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. Competitive pay of $16.00/hour with full-time benefits is offered; applications are accepted online.

Qualifications

• Prior floor care experience preferred (not mandatory).
• Knowledge of floor care equipment and techniques is required.
• Ability to follow safety procedures is essential.
• Frequent lifting/carrying/pushing/pulling up to 50 lbs is required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain hard-surface floor care including stripping, refinishing, burnishing, spray cleaning and spray buffing.
• Operate various types of industrial floor care equipment.
• Utilize automated equipment for large areas of floor cleaning.
• Perform carpet and upholstery cleaning including shampooing, damp vac, extractions, spot cleaning and vacuuming.
• Carry out maintenance/restorative processes for all floor types.
• Other duties as assigned by manager.
