TouchPoint Support Services is hiring for a full-time Floor Technician at MyMichigan Saginaw, MI. The role covers floor maintenance, restoration, and operation of industrial floor care equipment with a 2:30 pm–10:30 pm schedule, rotating weekends and holidays, on-site at the Saginaw facility.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a floor care technician or in related role preferred.
• Knowledge of floor care equipment and techniques.
• Knowledge and ability to follow safety procedures.
• Requires frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling of up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Maintains knowledge of principles of hard-surface floor maintenance and uses proper procedures on hard floor care including stripping and refinishing, burnishing, spray cleaning, and spray buffing.
• Operates various types of industrial floor care equipment.
• Utilizes automated equipment for cleaning large floor areas.
• Performs carpet and upholstery care including shampooing, damp surface cleaning, extractions, spot cleaning, vacuuming.
• Performs maintenance and restorative processes for all floor surface types.
• Other duties as assigned by manager.
