Job summary

Marsden South in Orange, Texas is hiring a Floor Care Technician to join our facilities team. You will work Monday to Friday, 3:30 pm to 12:00 am, performing floor care, carpet cleaning, and related duties with standard cleaning equipment.

Candidates must be 18+, have work authorization, a valid driver’s license, pass safety tests and drug screens, and consent to background checks. This full-time evening shift offers a steady schedule and competitive hourly pay.

Qualifications

• You must be 18 years old.
• You must have work authorization.
• You must be willing to pass multiple safety tests.
• You must have an active driver’s license.
• You must pass a pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Perform proper techniques of scheduled floor care and preparation of areas to be cleaned, scrubbed, buffed, stripped, refinished, waxed, or sealed as well as carpet cleaning using appropriate equipment and chemicals.
• Operate and maintain all floor cleaning/finishing equipment including but not limited to floor buffers/burnishes, water extraction machines, and carpet cleaning equipment.
• Spot cleaning of carpets as needed.
• Extraction of liquids from carpet and treat areas appropriately.
• Follow all safety and personnel rules and regulations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Floor Care Technician at Marsden South

Hourly Rate: $16

Location: Orange, Texas

Job Duties:

As you might expect, cleaning is at the heart of what your job will entail. For the most part, you’ll be:
