This individual shall complete all tasks assigned on a daily basis for areas within the Baptist Health hospital and non-hospital facilities. This position may have additional duties assigned that are within scope of the role.**Education / Experience**: High School diploma or equivalent required. At least one year floor care experience preferable. Must possess excellent communication and customer service skills.**License / Certification**: none**Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities**: • Must be able to interact with all levels of peers, customers and management. • Must be able to work safely around chemicals, dust and be flexible with begin and end shift time. • Must be flexible with scheduled work times to meet customer demands as well. • Ability to observe, assess, and record work, safety and infection control standards. • Ability to work both independently and in a team environment. • Ability to foster a cooperative work environment. • Ability to monitor and/or maintain quality control standards. • Knowledge of supplies, equipment, and/or services ordering and inventory control. • Ability to maintain a professional and customer centric composure in difficult or challenging situations. • Ability to work from broad directions and be self motivated. • Ability to prioritize workload to achieve maximum efficiency.**Working Conditions/Physical Requirements**:Position requires sitting for 1% of the workday and mobility 99% of the workday. There is a continuous need for speaking with clear diction and hearing sensitivity in conversation either by phone or in person. Continuous visual acuity at close and distant range.
