NexCare WellBridge Senior Living in Dimondale, MI is seeking a dedicated maintenance/janitorial team member to keep the facility clean, safe, and welcoming for residents and staff. You will maintain floors, use cleaning equipment, and help with routine cleaning tasks to ensure a high standard of cleanliness and safety.

The role offers 8-hour shifts with rotating weekends and some holidays, and requires the ability to work with a team to meet daily maintenance needs in a senior living environment.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of janitorial experience.
• Experience with floor care on various surfaces (VCT, ceramic tile, marble a plus).
• Knowledge of cleaning and maintaining carpets is a plus.
• Experience using floor cleaning equipment and carpet cleaning/extraction tools is a plus.
• Must be able to lift at least 35 lbs and work with a team.

Responsabilités

• Maintain an outstanding appearance of all floors (hard floors and carpet).
• Operate cleaning machines and hand tools as directed.
• Perform routine building cleaning: trash removal, mopping, stripping, buffing, window cleaning, dusting, sweeping, and furniture polishing.
• Move and set up furniture and assist with facility upkeep as needed.

How You Will Help People Every Day

• Maintain an outstanding appearance to all floors (hard floors and carpet) in a facility.
• Use machines and hand tools.
• Perform routine building cleaning under supervision, including trash removal; mopping, stripping, buffing of floors; window cleaning; dusting, dust-mopping, and sweeping; cleaning laboratories; furniture polishing; moving and setting up furniture.

What you will need to be part of our EPIC team

• 1+ years of janitorial experience
• Previous floor care experience and knowledge of cleaning and maintaining hard floor surfaces such as VCT, Ceramic Tile, Marble, Terrazzo a plus but will train the right individual.
• Experience and knowledge in maintaining carpets in a commercial environment is a plus.
• Experience using low speed and high speed floor equipment and carpet cleaning/ extraction equipment is a plus.
• Must be able to clean facility efficiently, which includes walking, standing, reaching, stooping, bending and lifting.
• Must have ability to work with other crew members and take direction from supervisor, must be able to perform all physical aspects of job including lifting at least 35lbs.
