Job summary

NexCare WellBridge Senior Living in Dimondale, MI seeks an Assistant Dietary Manager to support the Dietary Supervisor and help run the dietary department in compliance with state and federal standards. You will help ensure quality nutritional services and a clean, sanitary kitchen and dining area.

Base wages start at $19.00 to $20.00 per hour, with yearly wage increases; this is a full-time role with strong leadership and a welcoming team culture that values service to residents and teamwork.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of related experience in a food service department; experience in a long term or health care facility preferred.
• Good communication skills with residents, physicians, visitors, and facility personnel.

Responsibilities

• Work with the dietitian to provide quality nutritional services.
• Ensure that appropriate levels of food supplies are available.
• Order supplies in a cost-effective and cost-efficient manner, as needed.
• Ensure equipment is maintained appropriately and, in conjunction with the Administrator, order replacement equipment as necessary.
• Assist in developing and maintaining the department budget.
