Job summary

NexCare WellBridge Senior Living in Dimondale, MI seeks a Dietary Services professional to assist the Dietitian and oversee daily operation of the dietary department in line with state and federal standards. You will ensure high-quality nutritional services and maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary environment.

Required: 3+ years in food service (long-term care preferred), High School Diploma or equivalent, and strong communication with residents, physicians, visitors and staff.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of related experience in a food service department; long-term care facility preferred.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Good communication with residents, physicians, visitors, and all facility personnel.

Responsibilities

• Work with the dietitian to provide quality nutritional services.
• Ensure that appropriate levels of food supplies are available.
• Order supplies in a cost-effective and cost-efficient manner, as needed.
• Ensure equipment is maintained appropriately and, in conjunction with the Administrator, order replacement equipment, as necessary.
• Assist in developing & maintaining the department budget.

This position will assist the Dietary Supervisor in planning, organizing, and developing the overall operation of the dietary department in accordance with current state, federal, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations governing the facility. This position is responsible for ensuring that quality nutritional services are provided on a daily basis and that the dietary department is maintained in a clean, safe, and sanitary manner.

You Will Earn:

• Base wages $19.00 - $20.00 per hour to start, based on experience
