Yona Solutions is seeking a Floor Care Technician to join our team in Minnesota. You will maintain and clean various floor surfaces, operating floor care equipment and adhering to safety protocols.

The role requires reliable attendance, the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and the capacity to work in day or night shifts. We value motivation, compassion, and a team-oriented attitude as we provide a clean, healthy environment for residents and coworkers.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a floor care technician or in related role preferred.
• Proven knowledge of floor care equipment and techniques.
• Must be able to follow safety procedures due to physical risks.
• Requires frequent lifting up to 50 lbs and varying work hours.

Responsibilities

• Maintains knowledge of hard-surface floor maintenance and applies stripping, refinishing, and burnishing procedures.
• Operates floor care equipment for cleaning large floor areas.
• Cleans carpets by shampooing, extractions, spot cleaning, and vacuuming.
• Performs maintenance and restoration for all floor types.
• Disinfects floor care equipment after use.
• Ensures safe mixing and use of cleaning solutions and adheres to safety precautions.
• Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Responsibilities:

• Maintains knowledge of principles of hard-surface floor maintenance and use proper procedures on hard floor care including stripping, refinishing and burnishing
• Utilizes equipment for cleaning of large area of floor surface
• Follows proper procedures on carpet including shampooing, extractions, spot cleaning, vacuuming, etc
• Operates floor care equipment as assigned
• Performs maintenance and restorative processes for all floor surface types
• Disinfects floor care equipment after each use
• Responsible for the safe and proper mixing and use of cleaning solutions and adheres to all safety precautions.
• Other duties and tasks as assigned by the supervisor

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a floor care technician or in related role preferred
• Proven knowledge of floor care equipment and techniques required
• Must be able to follow safety procedures and precautions due to physical risks
• Requires frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling of up to 50 lbs
• Must be able to be at work on time and at varying times of day/night
• Must be able to accomplish all responsibilities without supervision or other employee assistance
• Must provide a criminal background check
