Job summary

Westgate Branson Woods Resort in Branson, MO is seeking a detail‑oriented Floor Cleaning Technician. You will maintain cleanliness of carpets, floors and upholstery, ensuring safety and guest comfort across rooms and public areas.

The role requires physical stamina, ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and flexibility to work nights, weekends and holidays. Training and career growth are available within our large Westgate Resorts network.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid Driver's License with clean record; pass MVR check.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand/walk for long periods.
• Willing to work nights, weekends and holidays.
• Background check, drug test, and US work eligibility required.

Responsibilities

• Clean carpets and floors in rooms and public areas.
• Clean carpets, upholstery, and surfaces to remove dirt, smoke and moisture effects.
• Wax and strip floors as needed.
• Operate cleaning machines and move equipment safely.
• Set up safety signs and monitor moisture removal with sensors.
• Train fellow staff and assist leadership with duties.

Job Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Floor Cleaning Technician to maintain the cleanliness, safety, and appearance of carpets, floors, and upholstery throughout the resort.

As the Floor Cleaning Technician

you will:

• Cleaning carpets and floors in rooms and public areas of the resort.
• Clean carpets, upholstery, floors and room accessories to remove effects of smoke and water damage such as dirt, soot, stains, mildew and excess water moisture.
• Must wax and strip floors as needed.
• Drives vehicles or golf carts with floor mounted or portable commercial carpet, upholstery and interior cleaning machines, tools and supplies to work site.
• Ensures that proper safety signs are set up prior to performing floor cleaning activities.
• Places fans and dehumidifiers in strategic room location to remove moisture from carpets, upholstery and air.
• Verifies moisture presence and removal with moisture sensor.
• Spray or fogs carpets, upholstery and accessories with fabric conditioners and protectors, deodorizers and disinfectants.
• Inspect completed restoration to ensure conformance to standards.
• Assists in training of fellow employees in the department.
• Other duties assigned by leadership.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record. Required to pass motor vehicle record (MVR) check.
• Must be able to regularly lift, pull, push and or/move up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to lift and move furniture safely.
• Ability to stand and move for extended periods.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
