Merchants Building Maintenance, LLC is seeking a Utility Worker / Floor Crew Technician to support janitorial services and dedicated floor care for commercial facilities. The role requires physical stamina, flexibility for varied shifts, and reliable transportation.

You will operate floor machines, perform cleaning tasks, and assist with special projects while upholding safety standards and professional conduct in fast-paced environments.

Qualifications

• Previous janitorial or custodial experience preferred.
• Valid driver's license with clean record required.
• Ability to lift 20+ pounds regularly.
• Open and flexible availability for days, evenings, weekends, and overtime.
• Strong attention to detail and reliability.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and deep cleaning for commercial facilities.
• Provide floor care including sweeping, mopping, buffing, waxing.
• Operate floor machines and cleaning equipment safely.
• Assist with special cleaning projects, emergency cleanups, spill response, and water extraction as needed.
• Load, unload, transport, and organize cleaning supplies between sites.
• Drive company vehicle and maintain a valid driver's license.
• Follow safety procedures and OSHA guidelines.
• Report maintenance issues and supply shortages promptly.
• Maintain professionalism, punctuality, and quality workmanship.
