Job summary

Commercial Flooring Systems in Omaha, NE is seeking a reliable Full-Time Floor Technician to join our facilities team. You will clean and maintain tile, carpet, vinyl, concrete, and hardwood floors to keep spaces safe and attractive.

The role requires attention to detail, the ability to work independently or with a team, a valid driver's license, and physical stamina to lift up to 50 lbs and operate cleaning equipment. Evening, weekend, or holiday shifts may be needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Valid Driver’s License required.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Effective verbal and written communication.
• Physically able to stand, bend, lift up to 50 lbs, and operate cleaning equipment.
• Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented.
• Good organizational skills.
• Availability to work evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Sweep, mop, scrub, and vacuum floors with equipment.
• Strip, wax, buff, and polish floors as needed.
• Extract and spot clean carpets with carpet cleaners.
• Maintain equipment and report issues.
• Follow safety guidelines and PPE requirements.
• Assist with general janitorial duties when required.
• Monitor and restock floor care supplies.
• Communicate maintenance or safety issues to supervisors.
• Follow established floor maintenance procedures and schedules.
