Qualifications

• Experience as a floor care technician or related role preferred.
• Proven knowledge of floor care equipment and techniques required.
• Must be able to follow safety procedures due to physical risks.
• Requires frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling up to 50 lbs.
• Must be able to be at work on time and at varying times of day/night.
• Must accomplish responsibilities without supervision and pass a criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Maintains knowledge of floor maintenance principles and uses proper hard floor care procedures (stripping, refinishing, burnishing).
• Operates equipment for cleaning large floor areas.
• Performs carpet care (shampooing, extraction, spot cleaning, vacuuming).
• Operates floor care equipment as assigned.
• Performs maintenance and restoration for all floor surfaces.
• Disinfects floor care equipment after each use.
• Follows safety precautions when mixing and using cleaning solutions.
• Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor.
