Job summary

Yona Solutions is seeking a Floor Care Technician to maintain clean and safe floors across facilities. You will apply floor care techniques, operate equipment, and follow safety procedures to protect residents and coworkers.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a floor care technician or in a related role preferred
• Proven knowledge of floor care equipment and techniques
• Must be able to follow safety procedures due to physical risks
• Requires frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling up to 50 lbs
• Must be punctual and able to work varying times of day/night
• Must be able to perform duties without supervision
• Must provide a criminal background check

Responsibilities

• Maintains knowledge of hard-surface floor maintenance and uses proper procedures for stripping, refinishing and burnishing
• Operates floor care equipment for large areas
• Cleans carpets with shampooing, extractions, spot cleaning, vacuuming
• Performs floor maintenance/restorative processes for all surfaces
• Disinfects floor care equipment after use
• Follows safety precautions when handling cleaning solutions
• Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor
