Job summary

Servicon is seeking a Floor Care Technician in Downey, CA to perform floor cleaning, window cleaning, and general janitorial duties in compliance with client and company standards. You will maintain equipment, manage supplies, and complete tasks with quality workmanship for timely, safe results.

Ideal candidates have 1+ year of floor service experience, a valid driver's license, and knowledge of hard floors and carpet cleaning.

Qualifications

• 1+ year floor technician experience preferred.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Extensive floor care product knowledge.
• Knowledge of marble, granite, VCT, and other hard floors.
• Experience with carpet cleaning (shampooing, extracting, bonneting).
• Ability to perform window cleaning and power washing.

Responsibilities

• Understand and practice all client and Servicon Safety programs, promoting safety as a culture to team members and wearing all PPE when performing work.
• Proficient in floor care work including stripping/refinishing hard surface floors, carpet care/extraction, and operating specialized floor care equipment.
• Perform work assignments as directed and in compliance with Servicon’s floor care procedures.
• Inspect assigned area while performing duties and after work to verify compliance with procedures and SOW.
• Ensure supplies are stocked and equipment is clean and functional; report malfunctions promptly.
• Track inventory/equipment and monitor utilization for cost-effective use.
