Job summary

Servicon in Fort Worth, TX is seeking a floor care technician to perform floor cleaning, window cleaning, and general janitorial duties in line with client and company standards. You will maintain equipment, manage supplies, and ensure timely, safe, and high-quality service across sites.

The role requires floor care knowledge, 1+ year experience preferred, and the ability to work with diverse teams. A valid driver’s license is required; a high school diploma is preferred.

Qualifications

• 1+ yr floor technician experience preferred.
• Must have valid driver’s license.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Extensive floor care product knowledge.
• Working knowledge of multiple hard floor surfaces (marble, granite, VCT, etc.).
• Working knowledge of carpet cleaning procedures (shampooing, extracting, bonneting).
• Ability to perform window cleaning and power washing duties.
• Proficient verbal/written communication (Spanish a plus).
• Planning/scheduling, problem solving.
• Time management skills.
• Organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks, delegate and follow‑up.

Responsibilities

• Understand and promote client Servicon safety programs; wear PPE.
• Perform floor care tasks: stripping/refinishing floors, carpet care, operating floor equipment.
• Follow Servicon floor care procedures and processes.
• Inspect area during and after work to ensure compliance with SOPs and SOW.
• Ensure supplies are stocked; equipment is clean and functional; report malfunctions.
• Track inventory/equipment; provide feedback to manager; monitor utilization.
